Since 1893, the members of the Freeport Fire Department have dedicated their time to making sure the residents of our community are safe. Whether responding to a medical emergency, house fire, auto accident or carbon monoxide alarm, the Freeport Volunteer Fire Department is ready to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Firefighters of the Freeport Fire Department are volunteer who stand ready to serve you and your family. We strive to provide the highest standards of excellence in the performance of our duties. We spend many hours training for medical emergencies and firefighting. We educate the community and children in our schools about fire prevention and household preparedness.
As we begin our Fund Drive, we ask the community to continue their generous support of our efforts as they have so often in the past. This support enables us to provide for expenses our traditional appropriations do not render. The dedicated service of our men and women combined with your generous financial support is what makes us one of the best volunteer fire departments on Long Island.
